Urgent Closure of: Church Road (Part), Calne Without
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 27th June 2023, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wessex Water to carry out urgent permanent reinstatement works and other associated works.
Church Road (Part), Calne Without; from its junction with Lansdowne Crescent for approximately 70m in an Easterly direction.
Alternative route: via Church Road (unaffected length), Studley Lane, New Road, Old Derry Hill, Church Road (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 27th June 2023 and are anticipated to be required for 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
