The Parish Council
Town and parish councils are the first layer of local government. They are elected local authorities, which aim to engage local people and respond to their needs, through representation as community advocates or by providing services, for example; providing litter bins, cutting verges or promoting tourism in the local area.
Meet The Councillors
Calne Without Parish Council has 15 Councillors across 5 Wards. The Council is elected every 4 years. The next elections are due in 2021.
What We Do
The parish council serves and represents the community of Calne Without. We work towards improving community well-being and providing better services at a local level.
The civil parish of Calne Without was only created in 1890 and covered all the outlying parts of the ancient parish of Calne.
