Calne Without Parish Council was sorry to learn of the sudden death of Cllr Tony Trotman, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday 30th November.
Tony had served the people of Calne for many, many years, as a Town Councillor and a Wiltshire Councillor, and, before that as a County and District Councillor. He was also a resident of our parish and has previously served on the Parish Council.
Everybody who has worked with Tony has known him to be a decent, kind and generous person, somebody who was passionate about the town that he represented and completely committed to public service.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with his family during this difficult time.
