Studley Hill Groundwater Problems
Councillor Crisp (Wiltshire Councillor) advised the Parish Council on the 5th June, with the latest position on the Wiltshire Council investigation of groundwater problems at Studley Hill.
Equipment to complete a full survey of the water problems became available to Wiltshire Council in April. With Studley Hill not the most urgent of a countywide list of such problems, the current estimate is that Studley Hill will be investigated in September 2017. Councillor Crisp will keep Council aware of any further news.

Councillor Crisp (Wiltshire Councillor) updated the Parish Council on the 30th November 2017, with the latest position on the Wiltshire Council investigation of groundwater problems at Studley Hill.
The Drainage Team arrived in September with their equipment and surveyed the area. They made a number of repairs and installed a new gully to the system.
Wessex Water has at last been convinced that they have leaking equipment on Studley Hill and have done works to fix the leak. The road appears to be drying out.
The Area Highways team have filled some potholes and removed kerbing to allow water to drain into the open ditch. They have asked our contractor to do some root cutting to improve drainage also. The Highway Engineer has asked the contractor to do some further patching on the Hill and is awaiting a response.
This is the latest position that I am aware of, I will let you know if I hear anything further.
