Here at Calne Without Parish Council we are currently working on the final part of our Road Safety feasibility report. This particular part of the report focuses on whole of the A4 as it passes through the West Side of Parish, starting at Forest Gate, passing through the Studley Crossroads and all the way up to Chilvester Hill.
The report currently presents the evidence available to collect from accident reports and speed surveys. As a Parish Council we have identified that this empirical evidence is only part of the story and we are keen to include some evidence from the experiences of regular users of the road, however you use the road. This could be as a motorist, as a pedestrian, or as a cyclist.
We would like to invite you to email the council with your experiences of using the road, to help us build up a well rounded picture of how the road feels to use.
