Urgent Closure of: Stockley Lane East To Blackland Crossroads (Part), Calne
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 25 October 2021, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wessex Water to carry out urgent repair of a mains leak.
Stockley Lane East To Blackland Crossroads (Part), Calne; from the road outside Willow Farm for approximately 350m in a Westerly direction.
Alternative route: via Stockley Lane East To Blackland Crossroads (Unaffected length), Stockley North To Stockley Lane Calne, Stockley Lane, Quemerford, Labour In Vain Hill South C50 To Blackland, Stockley Lane East To Blackland Crossroads (Unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 25 October 2021 and are anticipated to be required for 3 days. This Notice will have
a maximum duration of 5 days.
