Wiltshire Council are carrying out a consultation on the future of Calne Without Parish council. The consultation period ends on Thursday 5th May.
 
The review (known as a Community Governance Reivew) is looking at reviewing the boundaries of Calne Without Parish Council with the aim of improving local governance for local communities.
 
In summary there are a number recommendations being consulted on that means parts of Calne Without would be moved into either Calne Town Council, Bremhill Parish Council, Heddington Parish Council or Cherhill Parish Council.
The remaining area of Calne Without Parish Council would then be renamed Derry Hill and Studley Parish Council.
 
Calne Without Parish council have considered the recommendations in detail and provided their official response to Wiltshire Council.
